Terms of Service
Effective date: August 1, 2026. These terms govern use of Excel Sync for monday.com ("the app"), provided by Dorakeen LLC (Vermont, USA). By installing or using the app you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization whose monday.com account you install it into.
The service
The app synchronizes data between monday.com boards and Excel workbooks stored in OneDrive or SharePoint, according to mappings you configure. You control what is synced, in which direction, and on what schedule. Sync is powerful: a mapping you configure can overwrite data in the destination you point it at. Review the validation preview and the direction of each mapping before running it.
Your accounts and data
- You need your own monday.com account and Microsoft account; their terms apply to those services. The app accesses them only with the permissions you grant at connection time, and only to run the syncs you configure.
- Your boards and workbooks remain yours. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Security & data handling page, which are part of these terms.
- You are responsible for having the right to sync the data you connect (for example, under your organization's policies).
Plans, trials, and billing
Paid plans, free tiers, and trials are offered and billed through the monday.com marketplace under monday.com's purchase terms. Plan limits (such as number of mappings, rows per mapping, and scheduling frequency) are enforced by the app and described on the listing. We may change plan features or pricing prospectively; changes do not retroactively reduce a paid, unexpired subscription.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to violate law, to infringe others' rights, to probe or overload the service, or to process data you are not entitled to process. We may suspend service to an account that is abusing the platform or degrading it for others, and will tell you if we do.
Support and availability
Support: support@dorakeen.com — we respond within two business days. The app depends on monday.com and Microsoft platform availability and API limits; syncs delayed or prevented by an upstream outage resume when the platform recovers. We work to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DORAKEEN LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your boards and workbooks (note that OneDrive/SharePoint retain workbook version history, and monday.com retains item activity logs and a recycle bin).
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DORAKEEN LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR US $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; these apply to the fullest extent permitted.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, which revokes its access and triggers the deletion described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend the service for material breach of these terms, and may discontinue the app with at least 30 days' notice to account admins, refunding any prepaid, unused subscription period.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules; exclusive venue is the state or federal courts located in Vermont. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These terms plus the policies they reference are the entire agreement regarding the app. We may update these terms prospectively; material changes will be notified to account admins, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
